The Avenel lot runs four acres and TRS owns what sits on it. Sizes run from 10ft up through 45ft high cube, with open sides, flat racks, reefers and double doors on hand. A fabrication crew handles carpentry, electrical and plumbing in house. Delivery goes out through owner-operators, and a 40ft drop needs 120 feet of clear approach.

Atlantic Trailer Leasing has been working out of Vincentown since 1949. Seventy-seven years in one corner of Burlington County buys a steadiness you can hear on the phone. The yard holds around 500 ground-level conex boxes on a 25-acre terminal, and that figure is published rather than implied. The company is employee owned. Its own drivers set the box on your ground, so the delivery is not handed to a hired hauler. A 10,000 square foot shop on site takes care of doors, windows, insulation, HVAC and flooring. What you will not find is grade language. Stock is described only as new or used, so ask directly whether a unit is cargo worthy before you agree a price.

Ark Container Rentals keeps more than 1,500 containers moving out of its Kearny yard, which is a big number for a company that only started in 2019. Depth like that means a 20ft or a 40ft is usually available the week you ask rather than the month after. The name says rentals, but buying is a published option and the sale page runs from 10ft up to 45ft, including office units and custom builds. Ark hauls roughly 200 miles out of Kearny, which covers every county in the state and then some. It names a dozen towns it delivers to, from Hoboken across to Edison. Grades are not broken out beyond new and used, so pin that down on the call.

Crist Container runs two yards in Monmouth and Ocean counties, one at Farmingdale and one on White Road in Jackson. Two lots on the shore side of the state shortens the haul for anyone east of the Parkway, and a shorter haul is straight money off the delivery charge. Crist owns its trucks, so the driver setting your box works for the company selling it. Gus Crist started the business in 2012 after eighteen years in the trade. Roll-up doors, windows and office conversions are done in house rather than sent out. The site sticks to new and used without spelling out cargo worthy or wind and water tight, so agree the condition in writing before the box leaves the yard.

The stock leans toward the longer units, with 45ft high cubes, double doors and full open sides alongside the usual 20s and 40s. There is no rental fleet at all here. LGI Shipping Containers Sales & Rentals keeps a lot on Route 31 in Washington, out in Warren County. That makes it the only container yard anywhere in New Jersey's northwest quarter. For a farm in Sussex or a builder in Hunterdon, the alternative is a box trucked in from the port, and that freight lands on the invoice. LGI runs its own trucks, though the fleet is small. Sales cover 20ft, 40ft and 40ft high cube, plus mobile office units and modification work. Be aware the operation is modest and the website says very little. There are no grades published and no stock list, so walk the lot or ask for photos before you commit.
